Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian One-sheet Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 40") (Learn More) Winning, the 1969 James Goldstone automobile Indy car racing sports action thriller ("Winning... is Everything!"; "Their love, like their world is ruthless, amoral and fascinating!"; about a race car driver who is so enveloped in his career that he might lose his wife to his rival) starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Robert Wagner, Richard Thomas, David Sheiner, Clu Gulager, Barry Ford, Bobby Unser, Tony Hulman, Dan Gurney, and Karen Arthur. Note that this movie was originally intended to be released with a "G" rating. But it had some pretty mature sex scenes, so it was revised to an "M" rating. But the posters had already been printed with a "G" rating, so the studio put snipes over the ones that had not been sent to theaters, and sent studio-issued snipes to the theaters that had already received the posters. Condition: very good. slight staining over the rating area at lower right (from removal of a snipe); minor creases along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster; top 3" folded back at one time; poster has darkened slightly with age (except along the top and bottom 3"); poster was oddly folded with the vertical foldline off-center a bit resulting in a 1 1/2" "lip" when the poster is folded Learn More about condition grades
