Date Sold 7/9/2023Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 14 Anita Louise 8x10 stills. Anita Louise was an actress from the 1920s to the 1970s. She came to prominence in the mid 1930s at Warner Bros., but she had actually been in movies since 1922, when she was a 7 year-old child actress, and she successfully made the transition to a teen actress, and then an adult leading lady (one of the very few child stars to ever do this, joining Natalie Wood, and a very select few others)! She was also a WAMPAS Baby Star in 1931. Some of her movies include: The Story of Louis Pasteur, A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Dream Comes True, Tovarich, The Little Princess, and Marie Antoinette. She passed away in 1970 at the age of 50 after a stroke. Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1930s to the 1940s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Note that these stills were consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he bought lots and lots of stills, and he kept them arranged by the actors who appeared in them (often B-actors, because he would write about them and use the stills to illustrate what he wrote). The stills offered here come from Ken Jones' collection and are originals he bought many decades ago! Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades Titles included:
