The Band Wagon, the 1931 - 1932 Max Gordon Broadway stage play musical (based on the book by George S. Kaufman and Howard Dietz) starring Fred Astaire, Adele Astaire (billed as "Fred and Adele Astaire"; the famous dancer had an act with his sister for many years, but she left the act when he started making movies soon after this play), Helen Broderick, Frank Morgan, and Tilly Losch. Note that there was a 1953 movie with this same name, but it was entirely different except for the name.
