Auction History Result #3567 DRACULA 3 8x10s R69 Bela Lugosi Date Sold 1/14/2003Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 3 R69 Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Stills (Learn More) Dracula, the classic 1931 Tod Browning Universal vampire monster horror thriller ("The Greatest of all Horror Thrillers"; "The Vampire Thriller!"; "The story of the strangest passion the world has ever known!"; "Do vampires really exist?"; "From the famous novel & play by Bram Stoker") starring Bela Lugosi (in the title role as Count Dracula), David Manners, Helen Chandler, Dwight Frye (if there had been a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award in 1931, Frye would have surely won it for his wild over-the-top portrayal as Renfield!), Edward Van Sloan (as Professor Abraham Van Helsing), Frances Dade, and Herbert Bunston NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the stills in this set measure 8 1/2" x 11". Do not bid on these stills thinking they are all 8" x 10". We believe these stills are from 1969 because they have a stamp on the back of each that reads "Property of Consolidated Theatre Services, Canada", and hand-written on each is a 1969 NSS number with the word "Dracula" beneath it. Condition: very good. There are ink pad stamps on the back of each still that bleed through slightly to the front in two of the stills.
