An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Jumbo Lobby Card (measures 14" x 17") (Learn More) The Return of Frank James, the 1940 Fritz Lang outlaw cowboy western sequel ("Again the name of James strikes terror over all the west! More spectacular and exciting than the unforgettable 'Jesse James'!") starring Henry Fonda (in the title role as Frank James), Gene Tierney (in her first movie role!), Jackie Cooper, Henry Hull, John Carradine, J. Edward Bromberg, Donald Meek, Eddie Collins, George Barbier, Matthew 'Stymie' Beard, and Ernest Whitman. Note that "Jesse James" had been one of 20th Century-Fox's biggest hits of 1939, but of course, Tyrone Power Jr. died at the end of the movie, so the only way they could make a sequel was having it star Henry Fonda, reprising his role as Jesse's brother Frank! Because we are selling more than one lobby card from this movie this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate the different sales, and we did so by marking them "#1, #2, #3, etc..". Condition: good. creases, scuffs, and a few tears around the edges of the card (including a 1/2" tear that goes into Fonda's hair) This item is in "lesser" condition (what many dealers would describe as "good" or "good to very good", or in the case of items with major defects, which should be easily seen on our large images, "fair")! It has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right (although some of the defects may not be so easily seen in the images). Therefore, in addition to the images, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above. We know that some collectors could accept this item's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this item if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored.
