An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More) Meet Me in Las Vegas (released outside the U.S. as "Viva Las Vegas!"), the 1956 Roy Rowland Nevada romantic casino gambling musical comedy ("MGM's gold mine of entertainment in CinemaScope and color!"; "It's a gorgeous, glorious, glittering gold mine of entertainment!"; "Music by Nicholas Brodszky"; "Lyrics by Sammy Cahn"; "Choreography by Hermes Pan"; about a gambling cowboy who discovers that he's lucky at roulette whenever he holds the hand of dancer Maria) starring Dan Dailey, Cyd Charisse (as Maria!), Agnes Moorehead, Lili Darvas, Jim Backus, Oscar Karlweis, Liliane Montevecchi ("New MGM Glamour Star!"), Cara Williams, The Four Aces, "and Guest Stars" Jerry Colonna, Paul Henreid, Lena Horne, Frankie Laine, and Mitsuko Sawamura ("New Singing Sensation!"; a 14 year old girl who sang at U.S. military bases and then was signed to appear in a few movies, beginning with this one!) with cameo appearances by Peter Lorre, Debbie Reynolds, Jeff Richards, Frank Sinatra, and George Chakiris NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that oddly, this movie was re-titled "Viva Las Vegas" for this English release, and of course, that same title was later used for a very memorable Elvis Presley movie; in a bizarre twist, when that movie was released in English speaking countries outside of the U.S., it was re-titled as "Love in Las Vegas"! Also note that this British quad was folded vertically three times and horizontally three times (this being folded one time more than is sometimes done, but it is quite common with British quads, especially older ones). Because of this, this quad can be sent in one of our standard size flat packages (but if it is purchased together with quads that have not been folded in the same way, then it will of course have to be sent in one of our tubes if the other quads are unfolded, or, if it is purchased with other quads that are only folded once horizontally than it can either be sent in an oversized flat package, OR in a tube). But if this quad is purchased by itself (or solely with other quads that have been folded the same way), then the shipping can be lower, because it then fits in a standard package. But please realize that because this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time it is likely that the creases have diminished and therefore re-folding the poster will likely bring some of those creases back, but we leave that decision as to whether or not to re-fold the poster up to the individual buyer of this item. UNLESS THE BUYER TELLS US OTHERWISE, THIS QUAD WILL BE SENT ROLLED IN A TUBE. Condition: fair to good. There are smudges throughout the poster. There are tack holes around the edges of the poster and one in the middle left. There is paper loss in the bottom right corner. There is a stamp in Charisse's neck. Learn More about condition grades
