See the sadistic revenge of the commandant! See tortured men living like animals! See the brutal murder of the helpless!"; "Screenplay by Brian Forbes and Frank Harvey"; it seems that "The Great Escape" and "Stalag 17" both borrowed heavily from this movie) starring Richard Todd, Richard Attenborough, Bernard Lee, Dennis Price, Donald Houston, Peter Arne, and Michael Wilding (billed as "Guest Star Michael Wilding")
