It was first published in 1923 and it included early work by H.P. Lovecraft, C.A. Smith, and many others, and it is best remembered for its wonderful covers, especially the legendary sexy ones by female artist Margaret Brundage! It changed publishers and owners several times and ceased publication in 1954. There were attempts to revive it over the years, but none had much success. It is among the most desirable of all pulp magazines!
