The poster had creases, tears, and areas of paper loss in parts of the center vertical foldline, more so in the bottom quarter of that vertical foldline. There was a lesser amount of wear on the other foldlines. There were creases, tears, and areas of paper loss in the right border, slightly extending in parts of the right border, slightly extending into the edges of the image. There was a lesser amount of creases, tears, and paper loss in the other three borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed. You can see signs of the restoration of the above defects from close up, but from any reasonable viewing distance, they are not very distracting.
