Kirk), Leonard Nimoy (as Mr. Spock), DeForest Kelley (as Dr. "Bones" McCoy), James Doohan (as Commander Montgomery "Scotty" Scott), George Takei (as Lieutenant Commander Hikaru Sulu), Walter Koenig (as Chekov), Nichelle Nichols (as Lieutenant Commander Uhura), Majel Barrett, Persis Khambatta (billed as "presenting Persis Khambatta"), Stephen Collins ("as Lt. Willard Decker"; "as Decker"), and Grace Lee Whitney. Note that the Star Trek TV show went off the air in 1969, with a cult following, but without a lot of general success. But there was enough interest built up over the following years that this movie was made in 1979. Three years later, Nicholas Meyer wrote and directed a sequel, "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", which was a giant critical and commercial success, and led to all the many sequels and spin-offs in the years since! At first glance, a Thirty by Forty LOOKS similar to a one-sheet, but they are printed on a heavier paper stock and they are not ever folded, which many of the one-sheets from the same time period are. Most Thirty by Forties are far more rare than the one-sheets from the same titles. Please bid on this poster knowing it is a Thirty by Forty and NOT a one-sheet. Condition: good to very good. There is a tear at upper right (see our image) and a few other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image. It is otherwise in generally nice condition.
