He is best remembered for his role as John Steed in TV's "The Avengers". Some of his movies include: A View to a Kill, This is Spinal Tap, and The Howling. He passed away in 2015 at the age of 93. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Patrick Macnee! Note that this item was consigned to us by a dedicated collector who would purchase posters and lobby cards on stars he liked, and then he would go to events or collectibles shows where those stars appeared in person, and he would get the items autographed. If he could not meet the celebrity in person, he would send them the item, along with a nicely written letter telling of how much he liked that celebrity, and asked them to sign the enclosed item and return it to him. Over many years he was able to acquire a large number of signed posters and lobby cards. We have previously auctioned many of his signed items. All of the autographs were either obtained in person or obtained through the mail after personal correspondence with the star, and we feel certain that the autographs on these items are authentic!
