Russo end-of-the-world science fiction (sci-fi) walking-dead undead zombie horror thriller ("They won't stay dead!"; "They keep coming back in a bloodthirsty lust for human flesh!... Pits the dead against the living in a struggle for survival!") starring Judith O'Dea, Duane Jones, Marilyn Eastman, Karl Hardman, Judith Ridley, Kyra Schon, Charles Craig, Keith Wayne, Randy Burr, S. William Hinzman (billed as "Bill Heinzman"; as the graveyard zombie), George A. Romero (the director, as one of the Washington reporters!), Russell Streiner, Ella Mae Smith, Dick Heckard, John Kirch, Paula Richards, George Kosana, John Russo, Richard Ricci, and Terry Gindele NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have sold several examples of this pressbook in the past, but they usually are just the 4-page pressbook. Once we sold one with the original herald. But this pressbook comes with a sample of the 4 1/4" x 9 1/4" "insurance policy" that was given out to people attending the movie (theaters could order these just like they ordered the heralds). It also has an example of the 2-page version of this 4-page pressbook (we don't know if those were distributed separately from the 4-page pressbook, but we were once consigned one of the 2-page pressbooks separately). It also has a photocopy (printed on both sides) which shows the "special merchandising campaign" for the movie, which shows the insurance policy that could be ordered, and also the herald on the other side (we don't know if this was distributed as a photocopy by the studio, or if someone made a photocopy of the original, because we have never seen this before!). Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!
