An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Stage Show Music Concert Poster (WC; measures 14" x 17" [36 x 43 cm]) (Learn More) Irene Manning (she was born "Inez Harvout", and was first billed as "Hope Manning" early in her career) was an actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. She was first a singer and then a stage actress, which led to her appearing in Hollywood movies in the 1940s, but then she quit the movies and moved to England. Some of her movies include: Two Wise Maids, The Shining Future, The Desert Song, The Doughgirls, and Escape in the Desert. She passed away in 2004 at the age of 91. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card is from when this Warner Bros. actress appeared "in person.. in concert". Since the movies referenced on the window card (both Yankee Doodle Dandy and Shine On Harvest Moon are written about, and there are scenes from both movies on the window card!) are from the mid 1940s, it is likely the concert occurred at that time. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 17" [36 x 43 cm]. Condition: very good. The blank top of the card was trimmed. There is a 1" tear in the upper right background area and scuffing in the top right corner background area. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition!
