What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster (likely many years ago) was mounted onto a thin linen with small excess. It had extra folds, with creases, tears, and small paper loss along the folds. It also had some tears in non-fold areas and some stains around the edges. It is hard to know what flaws it had before it was backed or what it acquired after. If I owned this great poster, I would have it removed from the old thin linen and properly re-backed, but bear all of this in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
