An Original Vintage Folded Circus Poster (measures 28" x 41") (Learn More)

Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Combined Circus, a 1945 circus nine-sheet poster featuring a great giant artwork image by Bill Bailey of a smiling clown tipping his hat! ("The Greatest Show on Earth"). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. The modern version of the circus started in 1919 when the Barnum & Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth, a circus created by P. T. Barnum and James Anthony Bailey, was merged with the Ringling Bros. World's Greatest Shows. With weakening attendance and high operating costs, the circus closed on May 21st, 2017 after 146 years.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There are some creases and tears in the borders, with a larger number in the bottom border, where there are remnants from a paper snipe that was once glued across the bottom of the poster. There was a 3" tear in the left of the top border, which was repaired with tape from the back.
