An Original Vintage Souvenir Program Book (measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm]; 108 pages) (Learn More) The Screen Club First Annual Ball, the 1913 illustrated program book for the event held at the Terrace Garden in New York on Saturday, April 19th, featuring biographies of members, including the president, King Baggot. We had not heard of "The Screen Club", and we imagine it surely began in April 1912, because this is the program for the first annual ball held April 19, 1913, in New York City. In addition to King Baggot as president, John Bunny was first vice president, and Bronco Billy Anderson was second vice president. The book is filled with images of stars of that time, and ads from 1913 movie companies and companies that supplied them. There are also some cartoon illustrations! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the front cover and an interior 2-page spread from this program. You can use these images to determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are some other pages you are not seeing. Condition: good. Someone named Frank Powell wrote an inscription on the title page, and there is other writing on that page, plus some staining. The first interior page and the cover is separating from the rest of the book, and there is separation on the spine. The covers also have some scuffing, but the rest of the interior pages are in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
