Artist: Sergio Gargiulo Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Italian one-sheet, which has great different Gargiulo art of sexy Rita Hayworth! Also, while the artwork is dated 1944, this poster lacks a Columbia logo and Italian printer information, so we are guessing that it's actually from a re-release. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, scuffs, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds, and some smudges and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
