An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2") (Learn More) The Luck of the Irish, the 1948 Henry Koster romantic fantasy comedy ("Based on a novel by Guy & Constance Jones"; about a U.S. reporter who visits Ireland, and earns the gratitude of a leprechaun, and when he returns to the U.S., the leprechaun goes with him, wanting to repay his debt) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Anne Baxter, Cecil Kellaway (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Lee J. Cobb, James Todd, Jayne Meadows, J.M. Kerrigan, Phil Brown, and Charles Irwin NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that, immediately after World War II, the U.S. occupied Japan, and many American movies were shown in the late 1940s. All of the Japanese posters we have seen from that period have a "Motion Picture Export Association" circular printed logo on the poster, and this only seems to be on these late 1940s posters. Since there were many U.S. servicemen in Japan at this time, these posters have the title written in both Japanese and in English, and they are from the first Japanese release. Also note that this poster was machine folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There is 3" of separation at the bottom of the vertical foldline and tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds. Learn More about condition grades
