An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Living in a Big Way, the 1947 Gregory La Cava World War II (WWII) romantic musical comedy melodrama ("Loving Laughing Living In A Big Way"; "Original Story by Gregory LaCava"; about a G.I. who impulsively marries a beautiful woman just before shipping out, and when he returns, she wants a quick divorce, but he has other ideas) starring Gene Kelly, Marie McDonald (billed on some U.S. posters as "Marie 'The Body' McDonald"), Charles Winninger, Phyllis Thaxter, and Spring Byington. Note that this rather odd movie was written and directed by Gregory La Cava, who started directing movies in 1916, and had directed 173 of them (including "My Man Godfrey" in 1936) before directing this one, and its failure at the box office was the end of his long illustrious career.
