Note that Astor Pictures, which had been known for mostly re-releasing classic U.S. movies in the 1940s and 1950s, acquired the rights for the first American release of this classic Italian movie, which they released on April 19, 1961. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there are two styles of Argentinean poster that were created for the first release of this movie in Argentina. One style has a photo montage of all the lead actors. The other style has full-color artwork of sexy Anita Ekberg. That second poster was apparently released in conjunction with a promotion from Aerolineas Argentinas, for their logo is printed within the poster at bottom right. There is also mention of the soundtrack in the bottom left of that poster, which is not on the other poster. What IS linenbacking?
