Cody's [Buffalo Bill] own life story"; based on the story "The Great West That Was" by William F. Cody, the real life Buffalo Bill!; in spite of the title, Buffalo Bill is only a secondary character in the story, which is a romantic love triangle with an upright young man trying to win a beautiful girl from his unscrupulous rival, during a wagon train ride west) starring Wallace MacDonald, Elsa Benham, Grace Cunard, Edmund Boss (in the title role as Buffalo Bill Cody), and Robert Homans
