Note that Newman has regularly made great fun of this movie, often calling it the worst movie made in the 1950s, and when it ran on television, he placed ads in newspapers urging people not to watch it. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the snipe describes Paul Newman as "a new leading man"! Also note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! Also note that this still measures 7 1/4" x 9", but it does not appear to be trimmed.
