An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Summer of '42, the classic 1971 Robert Mulligan teenage-boy-lusts-after-beautiful-young-wife-coming-of-age melodrama ("In everyone's life there's a 'Summer of '42."; "From Herman Raucher's national best seller"; "Written by Herman Raucher"; about a young man who comes of age by having an affair with a widow) starring Jennifer O'Neill, Gary Grimes, Jerry Houser, Oliver Conant, Katherine Allentuck, and Christopher Norris NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was used in French speaking parts of Canada, but it was printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So it is an original still from 1971, but it was printed for use in parts of Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. There is an unevenness to the emulsion, but it is only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. Learn More about condition grades
