Date Sold 2/19/2017Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Torrid Zone, the 1940 William Keighley banana plantation adventure romantic love triangle comedy ("Triple Tropical Trouble ... Cagney ...Sheridan ...O'Brien!"; about a man who runs a fruit plantation in a banana republic in Central America, and he hires an old pal to help him, but that causes problems both financially and romantically) starring James Cagney ("goes native!"), Ann Sheridan ("goes after him!"), Pat O'Brien ("goes after 'em both!"), Andy Devine, Helen Vinson, Jerome Cowan, George Tobias, and George Reeves NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we know that this movie was given a quick re-release in 1942, when Warner Bros' top stars were all in the service and not making movies. But both the 1940 set and the 1942 set are not on linen finish cards, so it seems impossible to distinguish 1940 scene cards from 1942 scene cards (except for the 1942 title card, which has "re-released" in a box on it). If anyone has more information about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
