Note that Betty Grable obviously really loved this movie because she remade it just seven years later as Wabash Avenue! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 27" x 40 1/2" [69 x 103 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Someone trimmed 1/2" off the top blank border. The poster had a second vertical fold just to the left of the regular one, with tears and small paper loss between the folds. The same thing existed with the middle fold, but the extra one was only in the right half, and only 1/4" away. There were some tears and tiny paper loss on the other folds and around the edges of the poster, where there were also tape stains. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone mounted the poster to linen with no restoration at all, and it is somewhat "lifting" from the linen in the bottom. If I owned this poster, I would immediately have it removed from the linen and properly re-backed. Learn More about condition grades
