Walter Ruben historical romantic western Civil War melodrama (about a northern officer in the Civil War who works as a spy in the south, and he is trying to mislead the southern troops as to where an attack will be made, but when he falls for a beautiful young girl who has helped him in his job, his conscience bothers him) starring Richard Dix, William Post Jr., Shirley Grey, Nance O'Neil, Harold Kinney, Clarence Muse, and Eugene Jackson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we previously auctioned two complete sets of lobby cards from this movie 28 years ago (and while we auctioned one lobby card for the movie this year, it was NOT one of these cards!). Note that this group of lobby cards is from a remarkable find that was just made of extremely rare lobby cards from the very early 1930s, the kind of titles you never see! Unfortunately, all of them were in lesser condition and some in much lesser condition. We took out the best seven for individual auctions and then there are eleven incomplete sets of cards in eleven separate auctions (and this is one of those incomplete sets), and finally, we made four bulk lots of the cards in the worst condition. All of these will be auctioned in our auctions that end in January, and afterwards, there will be no more cards from this remarkable find! Condition: poor. In addition to the cards other problems, they are very faded. The cards have darkened unevenly and have paper loss in the corners. They have some smudges and stains scattered throughout.
