An Original Vintage Herald (measures 5 1/2" x 7 3/4" [14 x 20 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) David Harum, the 1915 Allan Dwan silent family relationship small town America romantic comedy ("By Edward Noyes Wescott"; about a banker in a small town who lives alone with his sister, and they both a great impact on all the inhabitants of their town) starring William H. Crane ("In his great characterization"; in the title role as David Harum, which he had successfully played on stage and had become identified with him), Harold Lockwood, May Allison, Kate Meets, Hal Clarendon, and Jack Pickford (Mary Pickford's brother!). Note that at this time, Charles Frohman, head of Famous Players, was buying the rights to many successful Broadway shows, and adapting them, with some of the original actors, into movies.
