If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds, with some pinholes around the edges. It had some light stains scattered across the bottom. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed the poster a number of years ago, with slight excess linen, and in the years since, the restoration paint has aged very differently from the rest of the poster, and it is extremely noticeable in parts of the folds, the borders, and parts of the white background areas. If I owned this poster, I would surely have a talented restorer remove it from the linen and re-back it. Afterwards, it will display really well, especially since most of the restoration is in the solid white areas, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding on this poster.
