At love without meaning. At murder without guilt. At the dazzle and the madness of London today."; "Two fanatical teenagers on David Hemmings in the hope that he will use them as models."; about a successful photographer who feels completely detached from his photographs of violence and pain until he takes a photo of a couple in a park and discovers a possible murder) starring Vanessa Redgrave, David Hemmings, Sarah Miles, John Castle, Jane Birkin (in her second credited movie role!), Gillian Hills, and Veruschka von Lehndorff (billed as "Verushka" in her first film role, the Russian model who is featured on most of the posters from this classic Antonioni film!), and The Yardbirds (including Jimmy Page & Jeff Beck) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that it seems quite likely that two of these Swiss lobby cards are from the first Swiss release and that the other four are from a 1970s re-release, because of the different MGM logos on the six cards (see our images). Also note that these lobby cards measure 13" x 17 1/4" [33 x 44 cm]. Also note that this Swiss lobby card was made by the distributor creating a set of identical stiff board printed backings with printed information about the movie, with a blank space for a still, and then they would attach a number of original stills to those boards, thus creating a set of Swiss lobby cards. Note that the board has metal grommets inserted into each corner, to make displaying of this Swiss lobby card far easier. Note that because the sets of Swiss lobby cards we are auctioning are both oversized and quite heavy, the buyers of them will have to pay the actual cost of shipping (wherever the buyer lives). So after the auction ends, the high bidder on this item will need to get a shipping quote for sending it (but it CAN be combined with any of the other items in this set of auctions). Condition: good to very good. Each of the cards has pinholes and tiny surface paper loss around the edges. Some have a small stamp in a corner of the tipped in still.
