Legong: Dance of the Virgins, the 1935 Henri de la Falaise (billed as "Marquis Henri de la Falaise") Bali tropical island romantic melodrama ("True... Actually filmed in Bali"; "Native Customs. Native Music. Native Cast."; "Produced on the island of Bali under the direction of Marquis Henri de la Falaise"; "Photographed on the island of Bali under the direction of the Marquis Henri de la Falaise"; about two Balinese sisters - one who plots to keep the other from finding love; obviously, the main appeal of this was seeing near-naked Polynesian women!) starring Poetoe Aloes Goesti, Bagus Mara Goesti, Saplak Njoman, Njong Njong Njoman, and Barong Rangda

Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned one-sheets from this movie, which are either from a 1940s re-release, or they are possibly from a 1930s roadshow release, when the movie played in midnight shows in small towns. However, this lobby card is surely from the very first 1935 release, and it is the only such item we have ever auctioned! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There are two pieces of tape on the back of the left border, mending a tear.
