An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 10 1/2" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) May McAvoy was an actress from the 1910s, 1920s, and again in the 1940s and 1950s. Some of her movies include: Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ (the 1925 version!), The Enchanted Cottage, The Jazz Singer, and Lady Windermere's Fan. Note that she got married and retired in 1929, and raised a son, and then returned to appear in movies in minor roles in the 1940s and 1950s. McAvoy passed away in 1984 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by May McAvoy! Our consignor obtained this autograph years ago in a group of mostly unsigned items, and they do not remember anymore about it than that, except that they felt it was authentic at that time, and so do we. Also note that this still measures 10 1/2" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp one of the bottom corners. Condition: good to very good. There are four tears in the left border and a tiny one in the right border, and someone put tape on the back of some of them. Learn More about condition grades
