Singing... Dancing... Picture"; "Girls! Songs! Dances! COLOR!"; "All natural color"; "Dances by Larry Ceballos"; "From play by Avery Hopwood"; about the son of a rich family in love with a chorus girl, and he wants her to meet his family, but she is too scared, so she sends her friend to pose as her, with wacky results) starring Winnie Lightner, Conway Tearle, Nick Lucas, Nancy Welford, Ann Pennington, Lilyan Tashman, "And a Chorus of 100 dazzling beauties". Note that this was only the second Technicolor sound movie ever made, and today only exists in fragments with the complete soundtrack. Also note that this movie bears a strong resemblance to Gold Diggers of 1933, but apparently they were not actually connected, only that portions of the plot and title were borrowed for the later movie. The card had paper loss in the corners (where they had been "rounded") and the card had darkened, and there were some creases and pinholes around the edges, with a few scattered in the image. A talented restorer gel backed the card (meaning they backed the card onto a gel material) and they then performed restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the card still looks and feels like an original card, with no backing at all. While the poster was pretty well restored, you can see some signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
