An Undated (probably 1950s) Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Stock One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Range Busters, the circa 1950s stock poster used by theaters to advertise re-released cowboy western movies starring Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, John 'Dusty' King, and Max 'Alibi' Terhune. Theaters would order this poster, which has a large blank area at the bottom or middle of the poster where the studio would overprint the title of a specific movie, thus getting many posters for the price of one. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "stock" poster created by Monogram for use by theaters showing re-releases of their late 1930s and early 1940s Range Busters movies in the late 1940s. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank area in bottom center. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. This poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster is somewhat fragile and has quite a few 3" and smaller tears, and small areas of paper loss in the folds and around the edges. Most of the bottom fold has separated.
