This poster features great artwork by Charles Buckles Falls of the U.S. Shipping Board pennant next to a 48-star U.S. flag Artist: Charles Buckles Falls Condition: good to very good. The poster had pretty minor fold wear. There were some stains and tears in the left of the top border, and also some in the bottom border and a few of the tears went into the bottom of the image, but there was not much wrong with the rest of the poster prior to linenbacking. The poster was simply backed onto a thin linen with no real restoration, and it is creased and rippled in the left of hte top border, and also slightly "lifting" from the linen in the left of the bottom border (any restorer could easily remove the poster from the thin linen and properly re-back it).
