Opio (literally translates to "Opium"), the 1949 Ramon Peon Mexican opium drugs crime melodrama starring Rosita Quintana, Domingo Soler, Tito Junco, Carolina Barret, Fanny Schiller, Juan Pulido, Titina Romay (billed as "Titina"), and Chela Castro. There are many people who collect movie posters from "drug" related movies, and not only are the posters from this movie very scarce, but it also appears that not only was this movie was never released in the U.S., but it also appears that it was never released in any country other than Mexico, making this one of the most difficult drug related movies to locate posters from! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had paper loss at the middle crossfold, small paper loss at the bottom crossfold, and tiny paper loss at the top crossfold. It had small tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the vertical fold between the middle and bottom crossfolds, with some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the other folds. It had a few tiny bits of paper loss and tiny tears in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
