Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was partially neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster also had a fold across the original middle, with a 1" semi-circular tear in the middle of that fold. There were some partial horizontal creases near the middle and there was a long diagonal crease running down the right side of Powell's head, running through his eye and cheek. There were tears and small paper loss in the upper left blank border and some small tears in the other borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
