In CinemaScope and the JOY of COLOR!"; "In gayest color"; "You're seeing it from a front-row seat! The Musical That Held Broadway Spellbound!"; "Screen Play Book and Lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner"; "Music by Frederick Loewe"; "In gayest color and Cinemascope!") starring Gene Kelly, Van Johnson, Cyd Charisse, Elaine Stewart, Barry Jones, Albert Sharpe, and George Chakiris. Note that all of these wardrobe test stills measure 4" x 5". Some of them have a visible clapboard in the image that gives the details about the movie and some do not. The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time. We do not provide a list of these stills, but there are images of all of them (some of the stills do not identify either the movie or the people pictured).
