Artist: Rinaldo Geleng Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this French one-panel. One of those examples has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still only one of three examples we have ever auctioned! Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Note that there is a tiny "4/57 Depot legal 57/2" with "24944" by that in the bottom left border. This means that this poster is from the first release in 1957, and that this is the second time the poster was printed. Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at the left and right top crossfolds and small paper loss at some of the other crossfolds. It had darkening on some of the folds and some small tears and small paper loss on parts of some folds. The entire poster had darkened. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
