An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Tiger Love, the 1924 George Melford silent Spain romantic love triangle masked superhero melodrama ("From 'El Gato Montes' by Manuel Penella"; "Screen play by Howard Hawks"; basically, a complete rip-off of Robin Hood, with Moreno playing the son of an aristocrat and a masked hero called "The Wildcat", who, as The Wildcat, kidnaps his girlfriend on her wedding day, and then reveals his secret identity) starring Antonio Moreno (as The Wildcat), Estelle Taylor, G. Raymond Nye, Manuel Camere, Edgar Norton, and Snitz Edwards (as The Hunchback). Note that Howard Hawks had arrived in Hollywood the year before this, and sold the rights to a story, and written dialogue for a bunch of movies. But this was his very first screenplay, and just two years later, he would direct his first movie, and the rest, as they say, is history! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
