An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Joe Palooka in the Squared Circle, the 1950 Reginald Le Borg boxing sports crime comedy ("Based on the comic strip by Ham Fisher"; "Story by B.F. Melzer") starring Joe Kirkwood Jr. (in the title role as Joe Palooka), James Gleason, Robert Coogan, Lois Hall, Myrna Dell, Dan Seymour, and Edgar Barrier. Note that Robert Coogan again plays "Humphrey Pennyworth", as he had in previous Joe Palooka movies, but oddly, Humphrey receives huge billing on the poster for this movie, and somehow Robert Coogan receives separate billing, even though they are the same person! If anyone knows more about this or can explain it, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. pair of staple holes in the center of the card (with tiny tears from rough removal) as well as some tiny black stains in the title area at center; small embossed stamp in the lower right corner of the card; 3/4" tear in the lower left edge (repaired with tape from the back) as well as some tiny tears around the edges of the card; minor creases and smudges throughout the card (mostly around the edges)
