They started working on stage together in 1935 and graduated to radio, television and film. Click on Lou Costello's name to learn much more about them! Some of their movies include: One Night in the Tropics, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, Hold That Ghost, and Who Done It. Abbott passed away in 1974 at the age of 78, and Costello passed away in 1959 at the age of 52. Important Added Info: Note that what is being auctioned is the cover and back cover of the color section of the Sunday News newspaper from July 20, 1941. There is printing on the other three pages (the reverse side of this page and the front and back of the back cover). We did not photograph those pages because they are not of interest.
