An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Belgian Poster (Learn More) The Song of Songs, the 1933 Rouben Mamoulian romantic love triangle melodrama ("Thrill to the new Dietrich! - the woman of flame and desire!"; "From the story by Hermann Sudermann and the play by Edward Sheldon"; about a social climbing German peasant girl who falls in love with a sculptor and poses for a nude statue, but then she marries a rich baron because the sculptor won't commit; it is an unhappy marriage, and she leaves her husband and becomes a cabaret singer, sinking lower and lower before finally reuniting with her true love, the sculptor) starring Marlene Dietrich, Brian Aherne, Hardie Albright, Lionel Atwill, and Alison Skipworth.
