An Original Vintage Theatrical Mini Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 8" x 14" [20 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Case of the Howling Dog, the 1934 Alan Crosland courtroom lawyer legal crime mystery thriller ("Meet Perry Mason - A new Sherlock Holmes with a new kind of personality!"; "From the story by Erle Stanley Gardner") starring Warren William (as Perry Mason), Mary Astor, Helen Trenholme (as Della Street), Allen Jenkins, Grant Mitchell, and Helen Lowell. Note that Warner Bros. purchased the rights to these characters in 1934, and this was the historic very first movie in the long running series. There were three more Perry Mason movies that Warren William starred in. There were two other movies in the 1930s with other actors in the lead role (Ricardo Cortez and Donald Woods), and then of course, there was the classic TV show from 1957 to 1966 with Raymond Burr playing Perry Mason.
