Kenton Universal monster horror thriller sequel ("New Thrills as the monster stalks again!"; "Original Story, Eric Taylor"; the fourth Universal Frankenstein movie after the three 1930s classics; in this entry, Bela Lugosi as Ygor resurrects the Frankenstein monster and takes him to the doctor's son and they must find a new brain!) starring Cedric Hardwicke (billed as "Sir Cedric Hardwicke"; as Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein), Ralph Bellamy, Lionel Atwill (as Doctor Bohmer), Bela Lugosi (as Ygor), Evelyn Ankers (as Elsa Frankenstein), Lon Chaney Jr. (as the Frankenstein monster), Holmes Herbert, and Janet Ann Gallow NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theatre" collection! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] (see below). Also note that this is one of a truly incredible group of 15 horror stills we were just consigned, which we are auctioning in 15 separate auctions! They were assembled by a very longtime collector in the 1960s, and he has kept them all these years! Several of them are truly "as good as it gets", and they are all first release stills, including ones from Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and more! This is an incredible opportunity to purchase one or more of these wonderful stills, and it may be many years before we ever offer some or any of them again! Condition: good to very good.
