Bucquet romantic medical hospital doctor crime melodrama ("The Great MGM Series"; "The thrilling sequel to 'Young Dr. Kildare'!"; story by Max Brand; the third of the very popular series of movies featuring this character and his crusty old mentor, Dr. Gillespie; in this movie, Dr. Kildare treats a wounded gangster, and he must convince the police that he was not involved with the gangster's gang) starring Lew Ayres (in the title role as Doctor James Kildare), Lionel Barrymore (as Dr. Gillespie), Lynne Carver, Nat Pendleton, Lana Turner (18 years old, fifth billed, and in one of her very first notable roles!), Samuel S. Hinds, Laraine Day, Emma Dunn, and Don 'Red' Barry NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. Note that the card measures very slightly under 14" x 22" (an extremely tiny amount in each direction!) and has next-to-no left, right, or bottom blank borders, but it has NOT been trimmed (this was done at a time when MGM was experimenting with having as few borders as possible). There is a nail hole in the "g" of "Calling", one in Turner's hair, and one in the "Y" of "DAY" in the credits at bottom right. There is a small stain in Turner's sleeve.
