Artist: Drew Struzan Important Added Info: This poster was consigned from a collector who bought this poster from Backlot Books in Hollywood soon after the movie came out. When the collector bought it, it was tri-folded only, and the collector had it linenbacked to have it framed. I am 100% sure it is original. A couple of years ago I was consigned a group of posters from a collector who obtained them DIRECTLY from NSS, and included in that collection was a "Revenge of the Jedi" one-sheet, and that poster also measured EXACTLY 27 1/8"x 40 1/2", and that poster was also only tri-folded!
This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Also note that this is a rare teaser one-sheet (note the complete lack of credits).  Condition: fine. The poster has had very little restoration. It originally was tri-folded only (it had no vertical fold).. Most of the linenbacked posters we sell were restored by the finest professionals. An expertly linenbacked poster will often appear "mint", as its defects have been made to "vanish". We are the only seller we are aware of who always tries to describe the condition of the poster prior to being linenbacked, so you are fully aware of what restoration was performed.
