So it is historic for that reason, but it is also "famous", because right near the end of the run, it had some covers by legendary fantasy artist Frank Frazetta, that are among the greatest comic book covers ever! Note: We have 19 images of this comic book, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 19 images are displayed above. This is one of an excellent collection of 138 vintage comic books we were consigned, which we are auctioning in 138 separate auctions. NONE of these comics have any restoration (unless noted in our condition description) and all of them came from a small group of collectors who purchased them mostly when they were first published, and none have been "slabbed" or "graded"! And EVERY one of these 138 comics (including some really excellent ones) start at $1 with truly no reserve. This is the kind of buying opportunity every comic book collector dreams of, and when these auctions close on January 16, every one of these comics will have a new owner! Condition: good. There is a small triangular piece separated from the top left corner of the cover. While it is completely separated, we photographed the comic with it "in place", but we have placed it inside of the front cover so that the new owner can choose how they want to re-attach it.
