eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 3b0434 SUDAN TC 1935 naked topless Arab girl + crowd of native guys with camels on horses! Date Sold 10/25/2022Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Struggle for Life (released in the U.S. as "Sudan"), the 1935 C. Court Treatt (billed as "Major C. Court") English Africa tribal documentary ("The great love and stark drama of an Arab tribe fighting for its existence!"; "Darkest Africa ablaze with realistic thrills and romance"). Note that this movie (like many others of its time like "Ingagi" or "Goona Goona") was SUPPOSED to be educational, but actually the main draw of the movie was to show topless native women, which brought in huge crowds in those pre-Playboy, pre-Internet days! Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Condition: good. The top blank border was very slightly unevenly trimmed, but only blank white paper was affected. The card has darkened, typical of some lobby cards of this period. There is a pair of staple holes in each corner, with some faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
