The Day the Earth Caught Fire, the 1961 (released in the U.S. in 1962) Val Guest English science fiction (sci-fi) atomic bomb nuclear horror thriller ("The Incredible becomes Real! The Impossible becomes Fact! The Unbelievable becomes True!"; "The picture that gives you a front seat to the most jolting events of Tomorrow!"; "The greatest news story ever told!"; "Written for the Screen by Wolf Mankowitz") starring Janet Munro, Leo McKern, Edward Judd (billed as "introducing Edward Judd"), Michael Goodliffe, and Bernard Braden

Condition: very good to fine. 5 of the cards are in fine condition with two tiny pinholes in the top left blank corner. The other three cards are in very good to fine condition. Cards #2 & #8 (Munro nude close-up & doctor listening to man's heartbeat) has a tack hole in the center of the top and bottom blank borders. The Munro card also has three tack holes in her chest (probably held a censor snipe over it at one time!). Card #3 (three stars standing in a gaze) was folded in half slightly off-center to the right. There are pinholes in the corners (some extend into the image background).
