An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) While London Sleeps, the 1926 Howard Bretherton silent London England action adventure crime thriller starring Rin Tin Tin (most famous of the movie dog stars, he was Warner Bros.' #1 star in their early lean years and the earnings from his movies kept the studio in the black!), Helene Costello, Walter Merrill, John Patrick, Otto Matieson, and George Kotsonaros. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Note that the IMDb says that the director of this movie was Howard Bretherton, and that Walter Morosco was the screenwriter and the author of the source story. Yet the one-sheet and glass slide have Morosco as the director. We think it probably means he was originally set to direct the movie, but that he was replaced at some point, and that would explain this.
